What is the American Diabetes Association "Alert Day" and why is so important?
American Diabetes Association "Alert Day" is meant to bring awareness of course or "SOUND THE ALARM" so people can take action and get the medical care they need to live well.
Diabetes is a very serious disease. Nearly 30 million people (adults and kids) in the United States live with it every day. More than a quarter of them don’t even know they have it and simply aren’t getting the medical care they need.
Did you know that an additional 86 million people have prediabetes? That means they are high risk for developing type 2 diabetes. People with prediabetes have blood glucose (sugar) higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
It's so very important to know and understand your risks so you can take the necessary steps to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Please me and the Watch Me FLEX Fitness family, to help bring awareness to the seriousness of Diabetes! It starts with YOU! Today, you can take a quick easy, annonymous online risk test at the following site Diabetes.ORG/TAKEAMINUTE
Please remember to share this information with your colleagues, friends and family!
